SC/ST GIRLS HOSTEL SANGRAH

The college was established in the year 2006; it has an illustrious history of 15 years. We believe that a nurturing environment outside the classroom is essential for the overall growth and well-being of our students. Our Girls' Hostel is a home away from home, designed to provide a safe, comfortable, and vibrant living experience. The hostel rooms are comfortable, well-furnished and impeccably maintained. The college provided hostel facility for 100 Girls students. Girls Students desirous of seeking hostel accommodation may apply for these seats after their admission to the college has been secured.

Accommodation

The hostel offers spacious, well-ventilated rooms equipped with all necessary amenities to ensure a pleasant stay. Options for single, double, and triple-sharing rooms are available to suit individual preferences.

Safety and Security

Student safety is our utmost priority. The hostel premises are monitored 24/7 with CCTV surveillance and security personnel. Strict entry and exit protocols are followed to maintain a secure environment.

Facilities and Amenities

• There is Wi-Fi available throughout the hostel.
• CCTV cameras are installed for security. Round the clock security guards are on duty in the entire campus.
• All of the hostel's buildings have housekeeping and warden services, and solar water heating systems are installed for hot water.
• A large, well-ventilated dining hall is used to serve meals. Additionally, it is used for events and festivities such as Teachers Day. There is a mess serving tasty, healthy, and hygienic food with a wide range of options.
• On festivals and the other celebrations, special meals are served.
• A TV room is available to the students.
• Students living in the dorm have access to leisure and sports facilities; water filters and ROs are installed to provide safe and clean drinking water.
• The students' welfare is constantly monitored by kind and worthy Principal (Dr. Meenu Bhasker) of the college and Warden (Smt. Ambra Devi).
• A hostel representative is nominated by the students and the Principal.
• Activities like dancing, singing, games and other festivals are organized
• Study rooms for a focused academic environment
• Regular health check-ups and medical assistance

Procedure for Seat Allotment

This hostel is meat for only SC/ST Girls. However, General Category girls may also get accommodation depending upon the availability of seats. Girls who were residing in the hostel in the previous academic session are given preference unless they fail in the Annual Examination. Other applicants will be allotted seats on the basis of merit in the previous academic session. If the seats still remain vacant, they will be filled on the first come first serve basis.
